My mom's not the only one who had a birthday that weekend. My mother-in-law, Sandy, also had a birthday. AND she retired! Woo-hoo, Sandy! I'm so jealous! Anyway, Sandy's idea of a good, relaxing time was to invite five small children to her house (perhaps she was nostolgic for her days as a stay-at-home-mom?). My sister-in-law, Elaine, and I brought our broods up to WI for some fun with Grandma & Grandpa on the river.
We arrived late, so the Robaczewski boys were already in their suits enjoying the water, but the Bannon kids were ready to jump right in!
After some fun in the water, there was hammock time!
Even after we were done in the water for the day, Lenny couldn't resist it's siren call.
Lenny also enjoyed Grandpa's sand pile in front of the house.
Oh, and packing for his trip down the river. I guess he thought the pier would make a good raft.
Here's the elusive Joey. He didn't stay still long enough for me to get more pictures of him, but he's the cutie running across the side yard.
And then here's my Faye. She loved going in and out of this door. A lot.
